Munya is a Melbourne-based musician and record producer with a passion for sound. In his years producing he has developed an appreciation for the art of mixing.
Although primarily self-taught, Munya studied Music Performance and Production at JMC Academy and has worked with up and coming Melbourne artists Hazel Sea and Arjae as well as with London-based produced Chris Hyson.
In 2023, ‘want me too’ (Produced by Munya Matema) a single off the EP ‘blue skies & reflections’ by Hazel Sea & Munya Matema was a winner of the RSOM Song of the Year award.
